A training course, developed by Charles Bloe Training Ltd. has been accredited by Glasgow Caledonian University and has just won the British Cardiac Nursing Innovation in Education 2008 award.

  DanMedical has been able to bring a product to market that uses software for 12 lead ECG interpretation developed by the Division of Cardiovascular and Medical Sciences in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Glasgow.

MEDICAL RESEARCH LEADS TO

HOUSE OF COMMONS

Ian Drysdale was invited to the House of Commons to present the results of his research work with Professor David Brodie of Bucks New University.

 

Ian, Managing Director of DanMedical Ltd., was among the U.K.’s top early stage scientists to be invited to the “Set for Britain” reception where he was met by Rt Hon Charles Kennedy MP.

 

The research, partly funded by a DTI Research and Development grant relates to Integrating Medical Measurements with the Internet and has been developed into a new computer based medical diagnostic device.

 

“It was an honour to be recognised and chosen to present my work to the most major event that takes real research to Parliament” said Ian.

 

Ian Drysdale, was invited to the Annual Presentations by Early-Career Researchers and presented a poster at The Ninth Great British Research and R&D 2007 show at the House of Commons.

 

 

 

Liverpool John Moores University assessment

Liverpool John Moores University School of Nursing and Primary Care Practice kindly agreed to put the D-MAS through it's paces in an End User Assessment.

The Centre for Advanced Practice was able to test the product in a clinical setting based within the School and evaluate the feedback from users. more.
